1) Climate change impacts on species and ecosystems:

 

I am interested to study impacts of climate change on butterflies, an indicator species. My dissertation is focused on phenology of butterflies at different altitudinal ranges in Himalaya and future distributional range predictions in light of climate change. A baseline developed from indicator species helps to estimate impacts of climate change at community and ecosystem levels. 

 

 

2) Habitat fragmentation and connectivity:

 

I am also interested in habitat fragmentation and connectivity, specifically how landscape/habitat has changed over the years and how these changes affect connectivity of different wildlife.
